Recofloor Distributor of the Year 2023
Recofloor is a collection and recycling service for commercial waste vinyl flooring across the UK. Founded by flooring manufacturers Altro and Polyflor, they provide an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional waste disposal routes, helping the flooring industry and its partners become more sustainable.
SASGO were delighted to be recognised by Recofloor as Distributor of the Year in 2023, it cemented our efforts to reduce the impact we as a flooring distributor are having on the built environment.
What the Award means to us
We asked Reuben, our Sales Director what the award means to us:
We are very conscious of ensuring that our business has minimal impact on the environment, and that we do everything that we can to reduce or offset where possible. It’s a big thing for us, and it’s a big thing for our customers.
We love the Recofloor scheme – we encourage customers that are coming to our branches to collect the materials that they need, and at the same time to bring their waste vinyl off-cuts and deposit them in our Recofloor bins. We also encourage them to put any F Ball packaging waste into to their dedicated recycling bin.
We have been honoured to win Distributor of the Year on more than one occasion, which we are very proud of, and constantly strive to ensure we are recognised by this key organisation in the flooring industry. The reason that we have been able to win the award for our flooring recycling efforts is not just down to the actual practice, but also the promotion that we put into the scheme as part of our sustainability ethos.
