SASGO achieves FORS bronze accreditation

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.

FORS operators demonstrate a commitment to managing road risk, reducing environmental impact, and improving operational efficiency, all of which improves overall fleet road safety and lessen the wider impacts of freight and fleet operations. As a company, SASGO recognises the importance of this, and why it is important to our customers - especially those working on major development projects.

Our Operations Manager, David Ruddy explained: “The FORS accreditation process was a rigorous one, but one that the team really engaged with. It gave us a chance to showcase and refine our processes, as well as discuss best practices within the team. The team know that being FORS accredited means that we are contributing to creating and maintaining higher standards within the transport industry. To be honest, we can’t wait to get the logo on to our vehicles, so we can demonstrate this to our customers.

As an organisation we pride ourselves on getting products to our customers as painlessly as possible. We place a lot of focus on our Delivery Plus Service offer, which is so much more than the times we can deliver. It is about the helpfulness of our drivers onsite, and our commitment to giving our customers the best possible service, helping them to meet their goals, FORS is a further demonstration of that assurance.”
