SASGO recently supported a major student accommodation development in Bristol, supplying a complete subfloor preparation and flooring installation package for a 260-bed scheme. Through a combination of high-performance PROBOND® products, dedicated account management, and reliable direct-to-site deliveries, SASGO helped support the contractor throughout the project lifecycle.
Product Selection and Support
As the exclusive distributor of PROBOND® products, SASGO worked closely with the contractor to supply PROBOND® PR295 High Penetration Moisture Suppressant, PROBOND® FL329 2-Part Contract Smoothing Compound, and PROBOND® B446 Pressure Sensitive Adhesive.
PROBOND® PR295 was selected for its ability to suppress residual construction moisture across a range of common subfloors. Its high penetration formulation and primer-free application helped simplify the preparation process while supporting programme efficiency.
PROBOND® FL329 was chosen for its versatility and suitability for large-scale commercial installations. The two-part, latex-based smoothing compound offers excellent flow and surface finish while providing the strength and reliability required for demanding residential developments. Its fast-drying properties helped minimise downtime between installation stages and supported continued progress across the project.
Logistics and Delivery Support
To support the project's demanding programme requirements, SASGO coordinated a series of direct-to-site timed deliveries using our own transport fleet, ensuring materials arrived precisely when required.
Working closely with the contractor and site team, SASGO's operations and customer service departments helped coordinate deliveries to align with installation schedules, reducing delays and ensuring materials were available when needed.
Throughout the project, the contractor was supported by Key Account Manager Darren Thomas, who acted as a dedicated point of contact from initial product selection through to final deliveries. Working alongside SASGO's experienced Customer Service team, Darren helped manage communications, product supply, and logistics coordination, ensuring the project progressed as smoothly as possible.
