SASGO have enjoyed being able to support the appointed flooring contractor on ‘The Orchard’ midlands distribution centre.

This third UK distribution hub is the size of one-and-a-half football pitches at approximately 154,000sq ft, with this key location enabling Hello Fresh can reach more of its customers, with fewer miles travelled to its customers’ doors.

The breadth of products supplied has been broad on this project, from floor preparation to stair nosings, flooring adhesives, trims and accessories, plywood, and fixings - to just mention a few. Products from well-known and well trusted brands including Bostik, F Ball, Probond and Quantum Profile Systems have been supplied.

Delivering to a large site like this has had its challenges, but the contractor, working closely with the customer service team and their dedicated SASGO representative, have been able to meet their client’s requirements and the demands that come with a project of this scale. SASGO has not only been able to assist by servicing the flooring contractor with products and deliveries, but with the technical experience on the SASGO team. The project presented us with the opportunity to assist our customer in a more consultative role, particularly with regards floor preparation.
