Product Selection and Support
As the exclusive distributor of PROBOND® products, SASGO worked closely with the contractor to support the specification and supply of PROBOND® FL390, PROBOND® FL307, PROBOND® PR298, PROBOND® PR295 and PROBOND® B446.
Direct alignment with the manufacturer enabled our team to provide practical guidance around product compatibility, sequencing and build-up strategy. Early technical input helped ensure that moisture management, levelling and bonding stages were aligned with the wider programme, reducing the risk of disruption once installation was underway.
In addition to subfloor preparation materials, SASGO supplied cover strips for fire doors throughout the project, enabling the contractor to consolidate procurement and maintain continuity of supply from a single distribution partner.
Logistics in a Constrained Urban Environment
Delivering into Oxford Street presents logistical challenges at the best of times. Restricted delivery windows, heavy traffic management controls and limited unloading space required careful planning and clear communication.
Our operations team arranged pre-booked timed slot deliveries, alongside several same-day deliveries where programme demands required a rapid response. All materials were delivered directly to site using SASGO’s own FORS Gold accredited fleet, ensuring compliance with urban delivery standards and providing the reliability needed on a flagship retail development.
Structured delivery planning enabled materials to arrive in line with installation phases across the three floors, supporting labour planning and minimising downtime. In a live retail redevelopment of this scale, maintaining workflow momentum is critical. Reliable supply and responsive service play a direct role in keeping follow-on trades on programme.
