Perth High School, Perthshire
The new £80.2 million Perth High School has officially opened its doors to pupils, marking a major investment in the region’s education estate and one of Scotland’s first high schools to be built to Passivhaus standards. The state-of-the-art, three-storey facility replaces the original 1971 building and sets a new benchmark for sustainable school design.
The new 15,934m² building provides modern teaching spaces for up to 1,600 pupils and 140 staff, with light-filled classrooms, advanced learning environments, and excellent sports facilities including a synthetic, floodlit pitch. The project, part-funded by the Scottish Government’s Learning Estate Investment Programme, demonstrates the growing trend across Scotland to energy-efficient public buildings that reduce running costs and carbon emissions.
SASGO’s Role in Supporting the Flooring Contractor

SASGO was proud to support the chosen flooring contractor throughout this high-profile development. Working in close collaboration, we arranged a series of large-scale, direct-to-site deliveries via the SASGO fleet, supplying a comprehensive range of PROBOND® products to meet the demands of this technically advanced build.
Products supplied included PROBOND® FL325, PROBOND® FL307, PROBOND® PR200, PROBOND® PR298, PROBOND® B400, PROBOND® B460, as well as several others from the wider PROBOND® range. To keep the project running smoothly, SASGO coordinated bespoke timed deliveries that aligned precisely with the contractor’s installation schedule, minimising downtime and maintaining workflow efficiency. This level of logistical control proved invaluable on a complex, large-scale site where access and sequencing were tightly managed.

In addition to product supply, SASGO provided on-site surveys and testing, allowing our customer to make fully informed decisions on moisture control, subfloor preparation, and levelling requirements. Our expert customer service team and the contractor’s dedicated account manager worked closely throughout the project, offering technical guidance and practical recommendations to ensure the right solutions were applied at each stage.
